New Council Chairman

Coun. G S Morley  who was elected chairman of Mexborough Urban Council on Wednesday has been a member of the Council since 1928, and was chairman also in 1939. He is vice chairman of No. 18 Divisional Education Executive and chairman of the Schofield Technical College Governors.

Councillor Morley was secretary of Mexborough branch of the A.E.U. for 30 years, and is a member of the Mexborough District Committee. He is also a member of many local boards and committees.
