Mexborough Woman Dies During Operation

Annie Freeborough, ( 22), a domestic servant, York Street, Mexborough, has died in the Mexborough Montagu Hospital while under an anaesthetic for an operation.

She had been ill since March and had been treated at the Saltaire Hospital and Clayton Hospital, Bradford, where she had been operated upon.

She was brought home on November 20th by Doctor Bhalla and removed to the hospital on Wednesday for a further operation
