Mexborough Street Accident.
A serious accident occurred near Main Street, Mexboro’ about non to-day, and resulted in a little child sustaining severe injuries to the head and face.
The child, a little boy named Woodall, aged about four years, was playing in the street, and running across just as dray was approaching. . The drayman had no time to stop his horse before the child was knocked down by the vehicle, one of the wheels of which passed over his head and the upper part of his body.
Assistance was quickly at hand, and the boy was taken to Dr. Ram’s surgery, where he was attended to by Dr. Carr.
His condition is rather critical
