Mexborough Pantomime
Members of Trinity Methodist Church Choir, Mexborough, have raised over £25 for church and choir funds by two recent performances of the pantomime “Cinderella.”
The cast, pictured, was: Miss Mary Tompkins (Cinderella), Mrs. Mable Copley (Prince Charming), Mr. Edwin Glasbey and Mr. Arthur Fish (Ugly Sisters), Mr. Eric Garbutt (Baron), Mr. Frank Turner (Demon King), Miss Doris Whitehead (Dandini), Mr. Wiliam Porritt (Buttons), Miss Dorothy Hemstock (Fairy).
The chorus were Mrs. Betty Sayles, Marlene Seeze, Janet Sutton, Gladys Young.
Stage lighting was by Mr. Arthur Yardy and Mr. George Foster was state manager.
