Fire bells, not sleigh bells belts heralded the arrival of Santa Claus on Saturday, when Mexborough Fire Station staff held their children’s party in Mexborough Parish Church.

The arrival of Father Christmas on a fire engine gave the kiddies a real treat, as can be seen from this picture taken as Santa prepared to climb out.
