Autumn’s Riches Arrayed at Mexborough Chrysanthemum Show

Described by the new secretary, Mr. E.S. Toothill, of Addison Road, Mexborough, as ” a wonderful climax to the growers’ year,” the annual show of the Mexborough and District Chrysanthemum Society presented a beautiful setting in the West Street Hall on Saturday.

There was a record entry and it was stated that nearly 50 per cent of the exhibitors were new to the Society’s shows.
