Mexboro’ Working Men’s Club.

The first annual supper in connection with the fishing club was held at the club-house, Wath road Mexboro’, on Saturday night, when a splendid repast was provided by the host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Corbridge.

Between 30 40 sat down.

The menu was as follows:–Boiled cod and oyster sauce, beef, boiled legs of mutton and caper sauce, roast legs of mutton, roast veal, duck, rabbit pies, pudding, jellies, and pastry.

Songs, recitations, etc., were contributed by various members, and a most enjoyable evening was spent.

The steward and stewardess are to be congratulated on their successful catering, the arrangements being carried out to the entire satisfaction of all present.
