A former Mexborough Secondary School boy with the Royal Air Force is Aircraftman Apprentice Frank T. Dent, only son of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Dent, 147, Wath Road, Mexborough.

He joined up in 1938.

He was at one time a member of the 4th Doncaster (Swinton) Troop of Scouts.
