Three Men Hurt in Keen Came at Loughborough
Loughborough Corinthians 2 Mexborough Athletic 0
Loughborough Corinthians beat Athletic 2—0 in Midland League match at Loughborough yesterday. The game, was keenly contested, but the robust methods of Mexborough did not pay against the scheming Loughborough, who fully deserved their win.
A trip by a Mexborough player resulted penalty, which Loughborough missed, but later Keeton and Glidden scored. Best suffered a kick in the stomach, but the goal keeper saved repeatedly, and Annables also played soundly.
Three men lay prostrate, hurt, in one Loughborough raid.
