Iron Hague’s Return.

The big boxer from Mexborough came back to the ring on the ring on Saturday last at Rotherham Saturday but it was only for an exhibition spar with his brother.

It is not easy for a boxer to “come back” as the term is understood to big business after been absent on stern training for something like 11 years.

Corbett found that out sometime back, and so it would be with Hague if the effort was seriously made.

We have seen in many of his contests in Sheffield, and always marvelled at the punishment he was able to take while he waited for his chance.
