Hull City Reserve 3 Mexborough Town 1
At Anlaby Road, Hull City Reserve repeated their away victory of 3-1 at the expense of Mexborough, after being a goal in arrears at the interval.
This was registered for the visitors by Reed.
Mexborough’s best move was shown in the first half, with the wind in their faces. A rearranged forward line worked satisfactorily for Hull in the second portion, Mills scoring two goals, and Flood adding a third.
