Districts All Play Their Part
A London departmental store came to Mexborough this week. At least from a glance over the numerous stalls at the Mexborough Montagu Hospital bazaar one would have thought so. Mr. Gordon Selfridge could have taught the organisers nothing about psychological appeal.
For the housewife there was a fine display of fruit, flowers and a wealth of confectionery. Even the men folk would find plenty of purchases on the general stalls.
