At the Hope Club, Mexborough, on Sunday four members of the committee were presented with Long Service Certificates by Mr. H. Hirst (third from the right), treasurer of the C.I.U. (South Yorkshire branch). They were Mr. A. Barron (12 years), Mr. A. Roebuck (17 years), Mr. J. Wootton (Vice-President, 17 years) and Mr. H. Gothard (12 years). Also included in the picture are the Club’s President, Mr. W. Dawson and secretary, Mr. H. Hullett.
