Fine Scoring Performance at Conisborough.

At Conisborough the local club met their rivals, Mexborough, on New Year’s Day, in a mixed side match, and ran out victors by six goals to one, this giving them their tenth successive win, without having to acknowledge one defeat.

Conisbcrongh who were in much better form than last Saturdav, had most of the play, the forwards combining well, whilst the defence left nothing to be desired.

For Conisborough B. B. Clarkson scored all the six goals, and for Mexborough J. Greig, who was the pick of their ride, scored once.
