Headmaster Joins the Army

William Winstanley, head master of the Central Boys’ School. Mexborough, a member the Urban Council, chairman of the Moxborough Tribunal, and officer of the 2nd Vol. Batt. York and Lancaster Regt.. has joined the Army, and has been posted to the Inns of Court O.T.C.

He is of the higher military age

Mr. H. A. Kerry, of Bolton-on-Deame, formerly headmaster of the Barnburgh Councii School, who has been discharged from the Army, has been appointed to the charge of the Central Boys’ School, Mexborough, during the absence on military service of the headmaster. Councillor Winstanley.
