Education at Mexborough.

John Bennett, a labourer, of Mexborough, was summoned by the Mexborough School Board, under the Education Act, and a fine of 6d. and 4/6 costs inflicted

The same defendant was summoned for two other children under the Education Byelaws and was fined 10s. including costs in each  case.

Joseph Stuart, a miner of Denaby, was summoned for a similar offence, and was fined 6d. and 4/6 costs.
