Drunkenness in the Doncaster District
At the Doncaster West Riding Police Court on Saturday:
William Froggatt, collier, Mexbro’, for having been drunk and disorderly, was fined 22s. 6d. including costs;
Thomas Hanstock, farm foreman, Conisbro’, had to pay 25s. for a like offence;
John Holbury, moulder, Rotherham, was fined altogether 22s. 6d.;
Michael Clark, collier, Swinton, 50s. including costs for similar conduct;
Thos. Donolly, collier, Denaby, was fined 17s. 6d. including costs for having been drunk at the Masons’ Arms, Mexbro’;
and Jas. Thompson, glass bottle maker, Mexbro’, for having used obscene language, was fined 20s. including costs.
