Drunkenness.

At the Doncaster West Riding Police Court on Monday, before Major Sturrock, James Parker, miner, of Wood Street, Mexboro’, was charged with being drunk and disorderly in High Street, on the Saturday previous. Police-constable Cade proved the case, and he was fined 5s. and 9s. 1d. costs.

William Burns, miner, of Denaby, was also charged with being drunk and disorderly in Doncaster Road, Mexboro’, on Saturday night. Police-constable Marsden said that the prisoner struck both a man and a woman before being apprehended. He was fined £1 including costs. The money was paid in both cases.
