Drunk and Disorderly at Conisborough

William Allen, pit sinker, Conisborough, was charged with having been drunk and disorderly on January 16th.

Police-constable Trueman proved the case, and Sergeant Ambler corroborated.

Fined £1 including costs.

Disturbance at Mexborough

Edward and Daniel Price, trammers, of Mexborough, were charged with having been drunk and disorderly at Mexborough, on January 16th.

Police sergeant Brown and Police-constable Windsor were on duty in Bank-street, Mexborough, when they saw an assault being committed, and heard one of the defendants saying.” Let him — well have it.” The man that was being assaulted was called Davis, and there were threats to kill him.

The defendants were fined £1 including costs.
