Double Offence at Mexborough
Eliza Bottiwood, married woman, Mexborough was summoned for having been drunk and disorderly at that place on the 12th inst.
The defendant was also summoned for having used obscene language at Mexborough en the 3rd inst.
The defendant did not appear.
P.c. Woodward, in proving the first case, said the offence occurred at 9.30p.m., in Bank street. She was in a very drunken state.
P.c.. Hudson corroborated and the defendant was fined 10s., including costs.
For the second offence, which was proved by P.c. Hudson and Sergeant Goldsboro’, a fine of 12s., Including costs, was imposed.
