Mrs Evans (Mexborough) (left) and Mrs Chattel (Denaby) in action on the Conisborough Bowling Green last Thursday, when they won the medals awarded the last two competitors in the Merit Competitions associated with the new Mexborough League for women bowlers.

Mrs Evans won the final match.
