Billiards Hall Disorder

Disorder in a Mexbcrough billiards hall led to a case at Doncaster West Riding Police Court yesterday, in which Thomas Didlock, Thomas Lucas, and Thomas Holbrook, all miners, of Mexborough, appeared.

Didlock was summoned for assaulting Frank Gibson, manager of the hall, and also for using threats. Lucas and Holbrook were each summoned for using threats towards Gibson.

Didlock was sent prison tor two months with hard labour for assault, and all were bound over for twelve months in two sureties of £5 or two months in default
