Sister G M Harvey, the deputy matron at the Mexborough Montagu hospital, has received an appointment under the West riding County Council at Wakefield, her position been an inspectorship in midwifery.

Sister Harvey, who has been at the Montagu hospital 14 years, received her early training at St Bartholomew’s Hospital London
