Luther Basil Henson, pork butcher, of Mexboro’, was summoned by Rachel Bennett, who applied for an affiliation order against the defendant for the maintenance of her illegitimate child, born on the 16th September.

Mr. G. W. Andrews appeared for the complainant, and Mr. W. H. Gichard, of Rotherham, defended.

The case was dismissed for want of corroborative evidence.
