One a Prisoner – Two Abroad

Mr and Mrs. J. A. Harrison, 42, Grenfell Avenue, Mexborough, have one son a prisoner of war and two sons serving in the Middle East.

They were recently cheered by the first communication received from Cpl. Harold Harrison (30, R.A.F., since he was taken prisoner by the Japanese over 2 ½ years ago.

Cpl. Ronald Harrison (27), R.A.F., joining shortly after his brother eight years ago and has served 3 ½ years ago in the Middle East.  He is an old boy of Mexborough Secondary School.  L/Cpl.

Albert Harrison (35), is with the Royal Engineers in the Middle East.  Before joining up three years ago he was employed at York, where he lived with his wife and three children.
