Mexborough & Swinton Times – Saturday 30 May 1942

A/C Charles Sherratt of 34. York Street. Mexborough recently sent an airgraph letter home to say he is fit and well is India.

He joined the R.A.F. about 18 months ago and left England soon after joining up.

He has been in Burma and Durban before going to India. He wishes to be remembered to all friends through the “South Yorkshire Times.” Of which he a regular leader.

He is an old boy of Mexborough Secondary School.
