Aircraftman W. Shearman (30) has been in the R.A.F. since July. 1940 and is now stationed in the South. He is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Shearman, Waterworks House, Mexborough.

Born in Mexborough, he attended Dolcliffe Road School, and before joining up was employed on the railway at Doncaster as a driver.
