Prisoner After Arnhem

Mrs. J. W. Sarjantson, of 41, Benita Avenue, Mexborough, has received official news that her husband, Staff Sgt. Glider Pilot, John William Sarjantson, who was reported missing at Arnhem, is now a prisoner in Germany.

The report states that he is wounded, but is being well cared for.

Staff. Sgt. Sarjantson had taken part in the airborne landings on the South Coast of France, and had then returned to this country for the Arnhem operation.

Mrs. Sarjantson is the mother of two baby daughters.
