Back On Duty

Corporal Reeve (30) R.A.F., son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Reeve of 54, Albert Road, Mexborough, is back on duty after being ill for a short period. Friends who have enquired about his health will be pleased to know that he is quite fit.

While in hospital Cpl. Reeve met a serviceman from Burman Road, Wath, named Parish, and has written home telling of his pleasure in meeting someone from his home district after being abroad for two and a half years.  He served in Persia and Ceylon.

He was a clerk in the Electricity Department of Mexborough U.D.C., before joining up three years ago, and was secretary to the local troop of Boys’ Scouts.

His wife lives in Adwick Road, Mexborough.
