Training For Pilot

Recent letters received from L.A/c. Jim Newby, by his parents, Mr & . Mrs. A.E. Newby, 64, Chaucer Road. Mexborough, intimate that he is liking life in the R.A.F. immensely and tells them he is training to be a fighter pilot.

L.A/c. Newby is an old boy of Mexborough Secondary School and, prior to joining up at Beeston, Nottingham, was working as a telephone engineer.
