Mr. J. Millington, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Millington, 97, Main Street, Mexborough, has been awarded a commission in the R.A.F.

Pilot Officer Millington has been in the R.A.F. for four months and was formerly a teacher at King’s Park School, Eltham,

London.- An old boy of Mexborough Secondary School, he attended Leeds Training College and took a London University BA. degree.

He is married, has a daughter and lives at Mottingham, London.
