Farm to Forces

Private Joe Houlbrook, youngest son of Mr and Mrs P Houlbrook, three Hirst Gate Mexborough, was called up in November, and was formerly employed at Manor Farm, old Denaby.

He is at present serving somewhere in England, and says is appreciation to Mexborough townspeople for their Christmas parcel.
