A Mexborough Presentation

A presentation was made on Saturday to Mrs, H. R. Ward, Woodfield Avenue, Mexborough,  to mark her retirement from Mexborough Employment Exchange after eighteen and a half year’s service.

She was employed at the Sheffield office of the Ministry of Labour before her marriage and returned to the department during the wat emergency.

She is an active member of Mexborough Ladies Choral Society and is on the Executive Committee of the Don and Dearne Local Association of Scouts.
