A Mexborough “Flit.”
William Hague, of Brampton, was summoned at Doncaster, for fraudulent removal of goods from a house in Mexborough.
Mr. F. J. Parr, for the landlord, Mr. A. Johnson, said defendant left owing £12 9s. 6d. rent, after having given notice to quit which was not accepted.
Defendant, by letter, had offered to pay 10s. a month, but this offer could not be taken. Defendant had been in the house ten years.
Complainant would be satisfied with 5s. a week.
The Bench made an order for payment at this rate.
