Musical Success.
Master Charles B. Haigh (son of Mr. and Mrs. 0. Haigh, of Adwick rd., Mexboro’), a pianist, possessing very fine technique, has obtained the Associate Diploma and the Gold Medal in connection with the Victoria College of Music.
The examinations were held recently in Rotherham. His solos were “ Polonaise in A flat” (Chopin) ” Moonlight Sonata ” (Beethoven),” Prelude” (Rachmaninoff), and ” Le Regatta” (Liszt), the performance of which secured him full marks.
He is a pupil of Mr. J. Jevons, Rotherham.
