Training for a Commission
Sgt John Gerard Hudson
(K.O.Y.L.I.),
second son of Mr and Mrs W Jacobson, 47 Highwood Rd, Mexborough, has returned from France to train for a commission.
He enlisted in November 1914, with his two brothers, Sgt George Alfred Hudson (at present in Salonika) and Sgt Fred Hudson (who was discharged after the evacuation of Gallipoli) and went to France last October.
He is 23, and prior to enlistment was a clerk at Manvers Main. He entered upon his cadet training this week.
