Mexborough Feast

Signs are that this event is close upon as. Already every available space in the town is entirely filled with all kinds of attractions’, from the wild beast shows to shooting gallery and stalls.

The feast proper, according to old custom, should commence on Sunday, but Saturday has for many years been included in the list.

The cricket club, as usual, announce four excellent matches, with the cyclists having a field day on Monday.

The brass band contest on Saturday will be a big event. The Railway Brass Band also announce dancing and sports near the South Yorkshire Hotel. A glance at our advertising columns will give some idea of the leading events.
