Private Percy Pashley, youngest son of Mr and Mrs. Wm. Pashley, Adwick-on-Dearne, was wounded in the head by gunshot in action in France on Sept. 3, and died on Sept. 7, without regaining consciousness.

He was 30 years of age and single.

He had been serving two years (seventeen months in France), and before enlistment was employed at Hadfield’s, Tinsley, Sheffield.

Two of his brothers are serving; Able-seama Pashley, H.M.S. Broke; and, Pte. Leonard Pashley (A.S.C., M.T.)

The last named was injured about the time his brother was wounded, and he is in hospital in France. He is married and his home is at Morley, near Leeds
