A Mexboro’ Medallist.

Pte. Robert Boon (cyclist Corps), son of Mr. and Mrs. Humphrey Boon, 39 West-st., Mexboro’ has been awarded the Military Medal for gallantry and devotion to duty.

He is 24 years of age, and enlisted in Oct., 1914, in the York and Lancaster, being almost, immediately transferred to a cycling unit.

He has been in France three years, and has taken part in many engagements. He is unmarried, and before enlistment was employed by Messrs. Barron. Ltd.
