Private Firth, Hewitt’s Terrace, High Street, Mexborough, has been gassed and is in hospital in Leicester, making fairly good progress.

He has been serving since October 1915 has been twice previously gassed. He has been in France two years.

Before enlistment he was employed at Wath Main.
