Lance Corporal Stanley, Beaconsfield St., Mexborough, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Stanley, 31, Doncaster rd., Wath-upon-Dearne, was reported by the War Office, missing from December 1, but he has since written home to say that he is a prisoner of war in Germany.

He is a married man with one child, and enlisted in January, 1915. His brother, Sergt.-Major H Stanley, is serving in France with the Canadians.
