Private Henry Severn

Private Severn of Arksey, near Doncaster, son of Mr. Geo. Severn, of 40, Church street, Mexboro’, died on January 10 of wounds received in action on Dec. 31.
He was married, and had three children. Before enlistment, in May, 1917, he worked at the Bentley Colliery.
His brother, Pte Ernest Severn, who has been. serving since Aug., 1914, has been twice wounded, and is now stationed at Sunderland.
