Sergeant Petty of 200, Wath road, Mexboro’, who has been missing since April 21, is now officially reported killed on that date. He was 27, single, and had been serving since June, 1915, and in France since November, 1915.

Before enlistment he worked at the Manvers Main Colliery.

His brother, Pte. George W. Petty (Y. and L.) is serving in France.
