Mexborough Joiner’s Death

“ I forced to return a verdict that this man took his own life, and I shall have assume that he was not responsible for his actions.” With the above words Mr. F. Allen, the Doncaster District Coroner, summed up at an inquest yesterday Mexborough on Robert Fernhead (33), a foreman joiner, of Grenfell Avenue. Mexborough.

It was stated that Fernhead was found by his wife on the kitchen floor on Saturday at 8 a.m. with the gas ring turned full on at his side.

Dr. H. S. Bhalla, of Mexborough said that had attended deceased for nervous debility. He thought death was due to asphyxiation consequent upon gas poisoning.
