Petty Officer Hadley, who is a native of King’s Lynn, was formerly on the staff off the Rolls-Royces  Motor Company.

He joined the Royal Naval Air Service in 1915 and in December of that year went out with the armoured car expedition to ‘Russia under Commander Locker-Lamp-son. He has just returned to England for a few weeks, and expects to return to Russia shortly. He has been in close companionship with two Mexboro’ men, Petty Officer Sydney Booth and Petty Officer Fred Barron Booth (sons of Mr. and Mr.. William Booth, Milton Road, Mexboro’), who are also serving with this Naval mission.

Sydney Booth is now in England, his home being in London. His brother has remained, for the present, in Russia
