Corporal G Holmes

Mrs Holmes, of the Post Office, has received a field card, from her eldest son, Corporal George Holmes (Royal Field Artillery) intimating that he has been wounded and sent down to the base.

Corporal Holmes was formerly clerk at the Houghton Main colliery, has been serving since June 1915, and has been in France continuously (except for one leave) is December 1915.

The nature of his injuries is not yet known.
