A party of Mexborough district unemployed who left last week-end for training at a Ministry of Labour camp in Norfolk.

Writing back this week to the local Labour Exchange, one states: “All the boys are keeping O.K. and are enjoying it up to press. We are not overworked, and the food could not be better; we get as much as we can eat. The nearest village is about 2 miles away and all there is three publics, and all the lads get down and have a sing-song together, but there is plenty of country for them to hike round and amuse themselves. We have not received the ‘Times’ yet.”
