The Case Further Adjourned

The Howden case, although in the House of Lords’ list to-day for further hearing, was not reached, the case before it occupying the whole of the time the House was sitting. There is, however, every prospect that the hearing will be resumed on Friday morning, and the case is then certain to last until Monday.

Mr. Danckwertz has yet to finish his argument, and will be followed by Mr. Rufus Isaacs, K.C., and Mr. Montagu Lush, K.C. The case was adjourned two hours to-day, to allow the Lord Chancellor to attend a meeting of the Cabinet Council.
