Air Gunner Killed

Mr. and Mrs. Darwin, of 6, Castle Hill Avenue Mexborough, have been informed that their eldest son, Sgt.-Air Gunner Charles Darwin (22) has been killed in action while serving in Africa.

Sgt. Darwin, who was an old boy of Mexborough Secondary School, and a former member of Mexborough Operatic Society, joined up shortly after the outbreak of war.
