Died Of Wounds.
Official news has been received by Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Bramhill that their only son, Tpr. Stanley Bramhill, has died of wounds while in hospital in Italy, on Feb. 20th.
Tpr. Bramhill, who was in the Reconnaissance Corps, had been in the Army for just over two years, the last twelve months of which had been spent overseas, in North Africa and Italy.
He was at Medjez El Bab. and participated in the fierce fighting for Longstop Hill in Tunisia.
Before joining up, Tpr. Bramhill worked as a bricklayer, and was a member of the Mexborough Clarion Cycling Club.
